Then there's everyone online who has managed to unlock and equip killer gear. You may not have thought about using Black Canary or Batman online, but after unlocking that sweet utility belt that you can't equip until you max Batman out, you might decide to pick him up after all. NetherRealm Studios was clever to let players start unlocking level 20 gear as soon as they start working through the story mode.
